The Carroll County School Board held its “close out” meeting on June 27. Along with anticipated actions on key personnel positions was some good news for the ongoing “Intercession” program this Fall.

Finance Supervisor and School Board Clerk Tammy Quesenberry told the board some $82,100 of start-up (planning grant) grant funds earmarked for Intercession would be carried over to the Fall term. She said this came directly from the state with no local match with the caveat it has to be used for the innovative “extended school year” program.

Assignments made of particular interest included Dana H. Burnette named to the Principal’s post at Carroll County Middle School and Lindsey B. Edmonds named as Assistant Principle at CCMS. Jesse D.A.
