Rotary Club of Hillsville plans talent show

The Rotary Club of Hillsville is seeking local (Southwest Virginia) talent and variety acts for our first annual talent show/pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 1. Breakfast will be served 8 a.m. – noon, talent show at 9 a.m. – noon, at Hillsville First United Methodist Church.

This show is planned as a fun early-spring event for the entire community. Admission for the public will be $5 per person, which includes breakfast (pancakes, sausage, drink). Alternate date in case of inclement weather is April 8.

Singers, musicians, storytellers, magicians, comedians, novelty acts—if you can entertain an audience, we want to give you a stage. Acts must be suitable for all ages.

Judges will award Recognition prizes and there will be a People’s Choice award.

The Rotary Club will charge a nominal entry fee of $5 for individual or duo, $10 for groups of 3 or more.
