Agnes Frost Newman, 89, of the River Hill community of Carroll County, passed away June 27, 2010. She was born Feb. 17, 1921 in Carroll County to John S. and Ida M. Carrico Frost. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard John Newman; brothers Paul Frost, Rufus Frost, Harry Frost, Herbert Frost, Howard Frost, Bobby Frost and sister Lydia Lineberry. She is survived by her sons Allen Newman and Billy Newman, two sisters and two brothers. The funeral service was held Monday, July 5, 2010 in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elmer Williams and Lawrence Warden officiating. Burial followed in Felts Memorial Cemetery.
