Bonnie Jean Funk, 67, of Independence, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1943 in Grayson County to Sam and Adeline Shupe Pearman. She is survived by her daughter, Jowanna Jones. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
