Iva Noonkester Hill, 84, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, Apr. 14, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Deward J. Hill; parents, Elder George Noonkester and Delphia Dehart Noonkester; and two brothers, Hassell and Dallas Noonkester. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wilda and Tom Sudderth of Lewisville, NC; sons and daughters-in-law, Amyl and Claudia Hill of Summerville, SC and JD and Brenda Hill of Hillsville; four brothers, Paige Noonkester of Mt. Airy, NC, Jay and Michael Noonkester of Ararat and Dwight Noonkester of Mt. Airy, NC; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; special nephew and spouse, Eddie and Janice Bunn; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Apr. 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Edward Bowman and Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial followed in the Mt.
