Iris Ann Worrell, 68, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Wake Forest/Baptist Medical Center. In addition to her parents, Edgar Clinton and Claudia Opal Worrell of Dugspur, she was preceded in death by brothers Gerald and Elvin Worrell, also of Dugspur. Iris Ann is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Eldridge and Helen Worrell of Mount Airy, N.C.; and aunt Irene Worrell Padgett and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to honor her memory was held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Dugspur, Va. Officiated by Shawn Carter. A private burial will be held at a later date with interment in the Worrell Cemetery.
