Sansford Ray Semones, 50, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Mr. Semones is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Semones of the home; sons, Matthew Semones and Jacob Semones, both of the home; parents, Sansford “Sam” and Catherine Lyndell Semones of Fancy Gap; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and David Reid of Lexington, NC; brother, Daniel Semones of Cana; mother-in-law, Wilma Haynes of Cana; sisters-in-law and spouse, Vickie and Perry Haynes, Peggy Haynes, and Amanda Haynes, all of Cana; brother-in-law, John Haynes; three nieces; four nephews; and special friends, Eric Johnson, Leann Bowman, Alicia McMillian, and Tina Newman. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Bobby Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Bluemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
