Iva Frost Edwards, 102, of passed away on Monday, Mar. 2, 2009 at Richfield Recovery and Care Center in Salem. She was born on May 12, 1906 to the late Wilburn T. and Norah Alderman Lineberry in Carroll County. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Graham J. Frost and Early E. Edwards. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruby Ann and Dr. Andrew Farrar of Salem; brother, John C. Lineberry of Baltimore, MD; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; step-daughters and husbands, Sue and Y.B. Hall; Dean and Charlie Nixon all of Woodlawn; step-sons and wives, Billy and Joella Edwards; Frank and Leila Edwards all of Galax; five step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held Friday, Mar. 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Felts Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Iva's name to your favorite charity.
