Debbie C. Goad, 52, passed away on Mar. 6, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Goad was retired from the public school system after 30 years of employment. She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Boyd, and parents, Avis and Blanche Collier. Mrs. Goad is survived by her husband, Nelson Goad of Willis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rebecca and Roger Alderman of Hillsville, Jill and Zane Saunders of Dugspur; niece, Anna Saunders; and nephews, Isaac Saunders and Roger Alderman, Jr. A memorial service was held on Monday, Mar. 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bethel Brethren in Christ Church, with Rev.
