The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating complaints concerning narcotics abuse and distribution at the N-Zone Family Entertainment Center in Woodlawn.

According to Carroll County Sheriff J.B. Gardner, Deputy Joe Holderfield pulled into the parking lot at the N-Zone at 8:39 p.m. on Sept. 21 after receiving complaints from citizens concerning narcotics at the Woodlawn establishment. Gardner said Holderfield walked to the parking lot, where he observed a group of juveniles in the rear parking area.

“He overheard them talking and they were talking about smoking marijuana. He then observed them light up a marijuana cigarette,” Gardner said. “He approached them and asked them what they were doing, and they said they were coming to smoke a cigarette. He said he overheard their conversation about the marijuana and said he could smell the marijuana. At that time, one of them said they did have marijuana on them.”

Holderfield then confiscated marijuana and a pipe from one of the juveniles. After receiving information on where the juveniles got the marijuana, Holderfield then went inside and spoke to the manager.

“And they identified a juvenile girl who had given the marijuana to the other juveniles,” Gardner said. “She did have a small plastic bag containing a relatively small amount of marijuana. She then told who she got it from. Charges will be pending when the material comes back from the lab.”

And right there is the very reason kids have nothing to around this town...because everytime somebody tries to give em something the kids themselves find a way to screw it up for everybody...They should be real proud..
