Louisa Thompson Goad, 77 of Aquasco, MD, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Mar. 8, 1931 in Dugspur, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Gracie Sutphin Thompson. Mrs. Goad is survived by her children and spouses, Tony and Terri Goad, Ricky and Midgie Goad, and Donna and Eddie Wilkinson; sister, Bonnie Dickerson, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Goad was preceded in death by her siblings; Clinton Thompson, Kevie Stone and Christine Webb. A celebration service for her life will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 at 11a.m. Funeral Services in Floyd will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Buffalo Mountain Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009.
