Carroll County’s girls’ soccer team is off to a roaring start. The Cavaliers improved to 3-0 with a 3-0 Southwest District victory over Richlands on March 31 in Hillsville.

The Cavs opened a quick 2-0 lead against Richlands as Cynthia Arrellano and Laken Hall both contributed first-half goals. Sierra Taylor added an insurance score midway through the second half.
“We are coming out to shoot pretty aggressive this year,” Edmonds said. “We have been bodying up on folks, playing aggressive soccer.”
