Lillie Kimble struck out 14 and allowed just five hits and no earned runs April 24 as Carroll County earned a 9-1 Southwest District road victory at Tazewell. Carroll County senior point guard Rachel Dalton will be rejoining former teammate Kayla Goins next season. Dalton, who helped lead the Lady Cavaliers to the best season in school history this winter, signed a letter of intent April 13 to continue her basketball career at Ferrum College.
