The Virginia State Police has confirmed three fatalities after a 75-vehicle pileup Easter Sunday on Interstate 77 in Fancy Gap. The pileup took place at approximately 1 p.m. Virginia State Police Spokesman Mike Conroy said dense fog was a major factor. He said it appeared as if the initial wreck led to many chain reaction accidents in the pileup.
