Bennie Akers receives instructions from poll worker Brenda Lindsey on how to cast a vote Tuesday morning during the Town of Hillsville's Municipal Election, which includes contested races for Mayor as well as the Pipers Gap and Pine Creek Ward seats on Town Council. Results of the election were not available as of press time, but can be found by going to www.thecarrollnews.com and in the May 9 edition of The Carroll News.
