Fundraiser set for heart transplant recipient


Clayton Davis is all smiles shortly after heart transplant surgery in Charlottesville with his parents Kelly and Dale Davis in January. Davis is a junior at Carroll County High School.


A Spaghetti Meal Fundraiser for Clayton Davis will be held Sunday, February 11 at Carroll County High School in the cafeteria. Clayton is a student in the 11th grade at Carroll County High School and is an active member in the CCHS FFA.

He received a heart transplant on January 8 and will stay in Charlottesville for an additional two months to recover from the operation. The time of the fundraiser will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost will be by donation. Donations can be made to CCHS – write Clayton Davis in memo. All proceeds go to help pay for his medical expenses. Call-in orders can be made to (276) 733-4490. The fundraiser is sponsored by the CCHS FFA, FCC, local businesses, and churches.
