James Kirby Lindsey, 63, of Hillsville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Levi and Edna Lee Henley Lindsey. James loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Katie Marie Lindsey of the home; son, Shawn Lindsey of Hillsville; daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina and Lonnie Vaughn; two grandsons; Justin Vaughn, and Joshua Vaughn all of Austinville; four brothers and sisters-in-laws, Samuel and Betty Lindsey, Bobby and Cora Lindsey, Lonnie and Ima Lindsey, and Roger and Jeanette Lindsey all of Hillsville; two sisters, Darlene Quesenberry of Hillsville, and Maxine Quesenberry of Woodlawn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. R.J. Buttery officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 7:00PM to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Allison Chapel Building Fund, 6620 Double Cabin Road, Hillsville, Virginia 24343.
